TIMO Heat & TIMO Final
Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) is an annual international Olympiad competition jointly organized by OCEC from Hong Kong and Thailand Mathematics Society. TIMO is a platform to stimulate and foster young people’s interest in learning mathematics, to strengthen the ability of their creative thinking, to widen their international perspective, and to promote the development of primary and secondary education and exchange of educational cultures throughout countries/ regions. This year, TIMO committee members invited 14 regions / countries such as Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Ukraine, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Taiwan, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia to participate.
TIMO Heat Round and TIMO Final are open to all Grade 1 to 13 (Primary 1 to A-Levels/STPM) Malaysian students.
All Malaysian students who have won Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Award in TIMO Heat Round 2026 or Depth Of Knowledge Assessment 2025 (DOKA) will be invited to compete in TIMO Final 2026.

***Only Offline Participants will receive Trophy.
LEGEND AWARD
TOP Achievers who won 3 GOLD AWARDS in TIMO Final, Big Bay Bei Final & HKIMO Final in the Year 2023-2024 (at least ONE ONSITE GOLD(s) is required) will be awarded the Legend Award. This crystal trophy is to commemorate and encourage outstanding students.
SPECIAL INVITATION for GOLD Winners:
All Big Bay Bei, HKIMO or TIMO Final Gold Award Winners are invited to attend the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO), fully sponsored by WIMO Foundation. ALL WIMO participants will get the opportunity to attend a 10-hour intensive training course and learn from IMO Trainers.
WIMO is open to all Malaysian students who have achieved a TWO Gold Awards (starting next calendar year 2023/24) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei), Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad Final (TIMO Final) or Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad Final (HKIMO Final).
