Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei) is an annual international Olympiad competition organized by OCEC from Hong Kong. The Big Bay Bei is divided into 2 stages: Big Bay Bei Heat Round and Final Round. The Big Bay Bei Final Round will travel around locations in the Greater Bay Area, such as Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing.
Big Bay Bei Heat Round and Big Bay Bei Final are open to all Grade 1 to 13 (Primary 1 to A-Levels/STPM) Malaysian students. Students who have won 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd Prize Award in Big Bay Bei Heat Round or Gold/ Silver/ Bronze in Depth Of Knowledge Assessment (DOKA) will be invited to join Big Bay Bei Final.

LEGEND AWARD
TOP Achievers who won 3 GOLD AWARDS in TIMO Final, Big Bay Bei Final & HKIMO Final in the Year 2023-2024 ( (at least ONE ONSITE GOLD(s) is required) will be awarded the Legend Award. This crystal trophy is to commemorate and encourage outstanding students.
SPECIAL INVITATION for GOLD Winners:
All Big Bay Bei, HKIMO or TIMO Final Gold Award Winners are invited to attend the World International Mathematical Olympiad (WIMO), fully sponsored by WIMO Foundation, on 5-8 Jan 2023. ALL WIMO participants will get the opportunity to attend a 10-hour intensive training course and learn from IMO Trainers.
WIMO is open to all Malaysian students who have achieved a TWO Gold Awards (starting next calendar year 2023/24) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad (Big Bay Bei), Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad Final (TIMO Final) or Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad Final (HKIMO Final).
